Day-wise Itinerary
Welcome to Paradise on Earth! Our driver will receive you at Srinagar International Airport with a warm welcome. After hotel check-in and freshening up, set out for a delightful Srinagar sightseeing tour visiting the iconic Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) — both set against the stunning backdrop of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains. Visit the sacred Hazratbal Shrine on the western shores of Dal Lake.
Evening highlight: Enjoy a magical 1-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake — gliding past floating gardens, houseboats and lotus blooms as the sun sets over the Himalayas. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (56 km, approx. 1.5 hrs) — the "Meadow of Flowers" and one of Asia's premier ski destinations. Spend a full day amid snow-draped meadows and the magnificent Apharwat Peak. The world-famous Gulmarg Gondola cable car (at your own cost) offers breathtaking panoramic views — Phase I reaches Kongdori at 8,530 ft and Phase II reaches Apharwat Peak at 13,780 ft.
Optional pony rides and snow activities at own cost. Explore the Maharani Temple perched on a hilltop and the scenic Gulmarg Golf Course. Return to Srinagar hotel by evening for dinner.
Post breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (96 km, approx. 2.5 hrs) — the enchanting "Valley of Shepherds" along the scenic Lidder River. En route visit the Saffron Fields of Pampore and the ancient Avantipura Ruins. Check in at hotel in Pahalgam.
Explore Betaab Valley (named after the Bollywood film), the lush Aru Valley and Chandanwari — base camp for the Amarnath Yatra — via local union cab at extra cost. Visit the beautiful Baisaran meadows on pony (at own cost), often called Kashmir's mini-Switzerland. Return to hotel for a cosy dinner by the Lidder River.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards the breathtaking Sonmarg (87 km, approx. 2.5 hrs) — the "Meadow of Gold". The dramatic scenic drive through pine forests and Himalayan vistas is a journey in itself — winding roads, rushing streams and snow-capped peaks at every turn.
At Sonmarg, visit the stunning Thajiwas Glacier — ride ponies to the glacier (at own cost) or hike through golden meadows with towering snow peaks on all sides. Soak in the pristine alpine air and breathtaking natural beauty. Return to Srinagar by evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Today is yours to explore at leisure. Visit the old Srinagar city and its historic wooden mosques, explore the bustling Lal Chowk market for Kashmiri handicrafts, shawls and dry fruits, or simply relax by the lake. Visit Shankaracharya Temple perched on a hilltop for panoramic views of Srinagar and Dal Lake.
In the evening enjoy a sunset stroll along the Dal Lake boulevard. Tonight savour a special farewell Kashmiri Wazwan dinner — a royal multi-course feast featuring Rogan Josh, Dum Aloo, Gushtaba and more. A perfect ending to your magical Kashmir journey. Overnight in Srinagar.
