Day-wise Itinerary
Welcome to the holy city of Jammu. Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, our representative will warmly receive you and assist with your transfer to Katra, the sacred base town of Mata Vaishno Devi.
The scenic drive to Katra takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours through the beautiful foothills of the Trikuta Mountains.
After hotel check-in, relax and explore the lively Katra market famous for religious souvenirs, dry fruits, and local snacks.
Prepare mentally and spiritually for the divine pilgrimage the next day.
Overnight stay in Katra.
Early morning, begin your sacred journey to the revered Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, located approximately 13 km uphill from Katra.
Pilgrims can choose trekking, pony, palki, battery car, or helicopter services (subject to availability and extra cost).
Seek blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi in the holy cave shrine, one of India’s most visited pilgrimage destinations.
Devotees may also visit:
• Ardhkuwari Cave – where Mata meditated for 9 months
• Bhairon Temple – completion of Yatra after Bhawan Darshan
Return to Katra after darshan.
Overnight stay in Katra.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day in Katra after your yatra.
Visit the sacred Banganga Temple, where Mata Vaishno Devi is believed to have created a stream with her arrow.
